The 11th All-Africa Games will be hosted by Brazaville, Republic of Congo. The Games return to their birthplace after 50 years. The 2015 All-Africa Games will mark the 50th anniversary of the 'African Olympics'.
Ghana and indicated interest strong interest in hosting the games.[1]
Kenya reportedly also prepared a bid for the games,[2]
However, on September 14, 2011. the Supreme Council for Sports in Africa awarded the rights to host the 2015 All-Africa Games to Brazzaville.[3]
